The new version offers advanced news editing capabilities such as quick record, providing journalists and editors with a robust, fast news editing solution for either the suite or the field. When paired with the Avid Mojo accelerator, the portable member of the Avid DNA family, NewsCutter XP 5.0 software benefits from the industry's only hybrid architecture designed to leverage the power of both host-based software capabilities and hardware-based acceleration.

NewsCutter XP version 5.0 software is available with an HP xw8000 CPU for $11,995 USMSRP, and NewsCutter XP software only (no CPU) for $6,995 USMSRP.
