Avicon, a global provider of eBusiness services, in business for one year, today announced the signing of its 35th customer, Champion Paper. Avicon's strategic eBusiness consulting services have been retained to develop a channel master strategy for this paper company. Following its planned merger with Finland's UPM Kymmene Corporation, Champion International will be one of the world's three largest companies within the forest products industry.

Over the last year Avicon has experienced rapid growth including international expansion into Canada and Asia Pacific. This growth necessitated a move to expanded headquarters in Natick, Massachusetts and the opening of new offices in San Jose, California, Dallas, Texas, and Taipei, Taiwan. Avicon continues to attract top industry and technology experts to its firm. Avicon is working with Texas Instruments (TI) on implementing their Capacity Planning and Management solutions as well as enhancing TI's capacity planning analysis capabilities.

The second phase of the project focused on back end integration components that enable clients to access itinerary and billing information online.
