Long-term disability http://www.m2.com US-based Avici Systems Inc has launched what it claims to be the industry's first stackable, scalable and rack-mountable OC-192c router. The new Avici SSR (Scalable Sampling Rate) See AAC. SSR - Scalable Sampling Rate stackable switch router offers a 19" or 23" rack-mountable form factor and support for interfaces ranging from OC-3c to OC-192c and Gb Ethernet. Other features include 20 slots per chassis, 5Gb/s to 200Gb/s aggregate capacity per chassis and an OC-768c capability. According to Avici the SSR is most suited for installation in regional/metro points of presences (POPs) within large RBOC (Regional Bell Operating Company) The Bell telephone companies that were spun off of AT&T by court order in 1984 (the Divestiture). Also known as the "Baby Bells," the initial seven RBOCs were Nynex, Bell Atlantic, BellSouth, Southwestern Bell, US West, , IXC, PTT (1) (Postal, Telegraph & Telephone) The governmental agency responsible for combined postal, telegraph and telephone services in many European countries.
