Aviation Week Group to launch 'Defense Technology International'.

The new magazine title will cover a range of defense technologies, including air-, land- and sea-based systems "that are driving military transformation," the company said. Defense Technology International will cover all branches of the military, using "Aviation Week & Space Technology's" reporting on aerospace technology and programs. "Creating a dedicated information source focused on current and emerging defense technologies is a natural progression from our leadership position in aviation and aerospace," said Kenneth E. Gazzola, Aviation Week Group exec VP-publisher. "The launching of Defense Technology International will expand our reach beyond our existing leadership position in aviation and aerospace," Gazzola added.
