Aviation Sales Company Announces Appointment of Michael Wilkinson as Vice President of Regional Airline Engines Operation.

Aviation Sales Company (NYSE:AVS) today announced the appointment of Michael Wilkinson as Vice President of Regional Airline Engines, a newly created division of the Engine Services Division at Aviation Sales Distribution Company ("ASDC"). The position is effective immediately. Under Mr. Wilkinson, ASDC-Regional Airline Engines will be responsible for asset management and sales of engine product lines for regional aircraft.

Mr. Wilkinson, age 50, has over 15 years of experience in regional aircraft engine sales. Mr. Wilkinson joins ASDC from Dallas Airmotive where he held the position of Regional Airline Sales Manager and was responsible for PW100 engine sales. He worked at Aviall/Greenwich Air Services (now GE Engine Services Dallas) for eight years, where he served most recently as Director of PW100 (Pratt & Whitney Canada) Engine Sales, and has spent five years with Teledyne Neosho supporting the TPE331 and PW100 product line. Mr. Wilkinson is a graduate of Western Oregon State College with a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education.
