Dean was a recognized leader in the aviation industry. Prior to joining Commander Aircraft Company, he was President of Strategic Marketing Resources and served in various senior level positions with Piper Aircraft Piper Aircraft, Inc., is a manufacturer of general aviation aircraft, located in Vero Beach, Florida. History Originally founded as the Taylor Brothers Aircraft Manufacturing Company in September of 1927 by Clarence Gilbert Taylor and Gordon A. Corporation. Mr. Thomas was a graduate of Bucknell University Bucknell University (bŭknĕl`), at Lewisburg, Pa.; coeducational; founded 1846 as the Univ. of Lewisburg. Its present name was adopted in 1886. Bucknell has a college of arts and sciences and a college of engineering. . He is survived by his wife Sue, their son Jordan, 7 and their daughter Deanna, 4.
