Aviation Distributors Appoints New Chairman and CEO.

LAKE FOREST, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 2, 1999--

Aviation Distributors, Inc. (OTCBB:ADIN), a leading aircraft parts redistributor and provider of inventory management services to major commercial airlines worldwide, announced today the appointment of William D. King as the company's new Chairman and CEO. Saleem Naber, who served as the company's interim CEO and President since March 1998, announced his retirement, but will remain as a Director of the Company.

King has an extensive and diverse background in managing both large and small private concerns. He has held key management positions since 1969. From 1990 to 1994, he served as Executive Vice President and President of the Electrical and Mechanical Group for JWP, Inc. From 1979 to 1990, King served as President and COO of the IT Group, a NYSE company. King holds a MBA from Harvard University's Graduate School of Business Administration and a BS from the University of North Carolina.
