Avexus Inc. Names Michael Grad Vice President Worldwide Sales.

SAN DIEGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 23, 2001

Avexus Inc. the leading software solutions provider for the maintenance, repair and overhaul industries, has appointed Michael Grad as vice president, worldwide sales, it was announced today by Doug McGregor, president and chief operating officer.

Grad has spent the past 22 years in the software industry, most recently as the vice president of sales and marketing for a B2B technology start-up. Michael made his mark in the software industry when he joined Interactive Group in 1990, ultimately becoming vice president of sales. Michael was instrumental in growing Interactive Group from $6 million in revenue to nearly $60M during his tenure. Upon Interactive's merger with DataWorks Corp. in 1997, Michael was promoted to the position of Vice President of Sales of the newly merged company's largest division and remained in that role as DataWorks and Platinum Software later merged into a $300M company at the end of 1998.
