(www.avexus.com) today announced it has acquired Impresa, a division of Epicor Software Corp. (Nasdaq:EPIC). Impresa is one of the leading providers of enterprise software solutions for the management of Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) activities on long-life, highly engineered assets used in the aerospace and defense industries. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Avexus acquired Impresa in order to build a leading position in the MRO enterprise software category. Impresa's clients comprise many of the largest suppliers and buyers in the aerospace and defense Industry, including Goodrich, Boeing, GE, Rolls Royce, US Air Force, US Navy and Pemco Aeroplex. Impresa has offices in both San Diego and Minneapolis.
