Lee Richardson Joins Industry Leading Mobile

Avesair, Inc., the premier provider of carrier-class decision engine technology that enables mobile marketing, today announced Lee Richardson has joined the company as Vice President of Worldwide Sales.

Richardson, who has over 20 years of software industry experience, brings an unsurpassed knowledge of international sales, markets, technologies and cultures to Avesair. In his role, Richardson will spearhead worldwide sales and play a pivotal role in jumpstarting Avesair's aggressive global expansion effort.

Richardson comes to Avesair after a successful 17-year stint at SAS Institute Inc., the world leader in e-intelligence software and services, where he was Vice President, Asia/Pacific and Latin America. In that position, Lee was actively involved in expanding SAS' global presence by establishing subsidiaries and branch offices throughout the region and led the effort that increased sales in that region from $15 Million to over $120 Million.

Prior to SAS, Richardson was with software distributor K.K. Ashisuto in Tokyo and Osaka. Richardson earned a MA in International Relations from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a BA in Asian Studies from Duke University. He speaks and writes fluent Japanese.
