:AVY) will host its fourth quarter 2002 and year-end earnings conference call in a live Webcast for equity analysts, portfolio managers, media representatives and individual investors at 2:00 PM (ET)/11:00 AM (PT) on Tuesday, January 28, 2003. The Webcast will follow the Company's fourth quarter 2002 and year-end earnings news release which will be issued earlier that morning at 11:00 AM (ET)/8:00 AM (PT).

The Webcast can be accessed at www.investors.averydennison.com. In addition, an audio replay of the conference call will be available approximately one hour following its conclusion through 5:00 PM (PT) on Tuesday, February 11, at the same Web address.
