Avery Dennison and American Greetings join forces to deliver a complete selection of cardmaking products.

Under the new agreement, Avery Dennison and American Greetings will co-brand several double-sided coated card products for ink jet printers See inkjet printer.  that are customized for CreataCard software and all other publishing software programs. Products include half-fold, quarter-fold and full-size (8-1/2 x 11) card sheets.

With more than 60 percent of ink jet printers being sold into homes, more and more consumers are making greeting cards, invitations, flyers and signs for personal, non-business use.

"American Greetings partnered with Avery Dennison because people know and trust the Avery brand in printable supplies," stated Maura Lavelle, director of strategic business relationships, American Greetings Electronic Marketing. "The Avery card products are a perfect complement to our CreataCard software."

"This partnership further extends Avery Dennison's reach beyond the office and into the home."

Avery Dennison has also signed an agreement with Micrografx (NASDAQ:MGXI), a global leader in graphics software, to distribute worldwide an OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) The rebranding of equipment and selling it. The term initially referred to the company that made the products (the "original" manufacturer), but eventually became widely used to refer to the organization that buys the products and  version of American Greetings CreataCard Special Edition software that enables users to design and personalize their own greeting cards and invitations. This software will be included inside a variety pack of Avery-brand ink jet See inkjet printer.  cards.
