Wolinsky, vice president of information systems at the Company's worldwide office products business, has been promoted to the position of vice president and chief information officer, based at the Company's Miller Corporate Center in Pasadena, Calif.

As chief information officer, Wolinsky is responsible for leading the Company's information technology organization, including the development and implementation of the Company's overall information systems strategy to support long-term business objectives. He reports to Daniel R. O'Bryant, senior vice president of finance and chief financial officer.

Wolinsky joined Avery Dennison in 1986 as senior systems analyst in the Company's pressure-sensitive materials operation in Concord, Ohio. He relocated to California in 1987 to join the Avery Dennison's office products business as materials manager. Wolinsky was promoted to increasingly responsible positions, including director of supply chain process improvement in 1996 and acting group director of management information systems in 1997. In 1998, Wolinsky was promoted to his current position as vice president of information systems for the worldwide office products business.
