Brother International Corporation, the leader in electronic labeling systems, has entered into a licensing agreement with Avery Dennison Avery Dennison Corporation (NYSE: AVY) produces pressure-sensitive materials (such as self-adhesive labels), office products, and various paper products. R. Stanton Avery founded Avery in 1935. Over the past ten years, Brother P-touch electronic labeling systems have organized the lives of millions of users with adhesive-backed laminated labels used for labeling everything from file folders and computer disks to fuse boxes and food storage containers.

With the unique new labeling systems - available Fall 2002 -- consumers can print even a single Avery address label, return address label, or file folder In a graphical user interface (GUI), a simulated file folder that holds data, applications and other folders. Folders were introduced on the Xerox Star, then popularized on the Macintosh and later adapted to Windows and Unix.
