Averil moved recently into premises in Station Road, formerly Rachel's of Dorridge, which is now trading under its new name Panache. Averil, who lives in Solihull, said: "I have made a career switch from publishing which has been badly hit by the recession. "I decided to take up a new challenge. "I have been encouraged by the warm welcome and help given to me by neighbouring traders and the enthusiasm shown by the customers. "I will continue with favourite labels such as Joseph Ribkoff, Tuzzi and Michele Jeans and Trousers Trousers (or pants in Canada, South Africa and the United States, and sometimes called slacks or breeches — often pronounced /bɹɪtʃɪz/ ."
