PORTLAND, Maine--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 22, 2002

Casco Development, Inc., a provider of real-time solutions that optimize shop-floor production efficiency, today announced that Aventis Pharmaceuticals has implemented its ShopVue system to track Time & Attendance and Activity Reporting in the Kansas City Kansas City, two adjacent cities of the same name, one (1990 pop. 149,767), seat of Wyandotte co., NE Kansas (inc. 1859), the other (1990 pop. 435,146), Clay, Jackson, and Platte counties, NW Mo. (inc. 1850).  Industrial Operations manufacturing facility.

"The impetus for this project stemmed from the need to minimize clerical activities required of the supervisors to review, approve and manage from the existing manual system", Pat Urnise, Aventis Manager, Applications Development. "With ShopVue in place, supervisors can devote more time to their primary responsibilities of managing and directing the associates that report to them. We anticipate increased accuracy and significant time savings for each supervisor in preparing labor, attendance and payroll reporting."

The process of entering attendance and labor information into ShopVue is simple and straightforward and be accomplished via ShopVue's "Time/Activity Card" for after-the-fact reporting and by ShopVue's "My ShopActivity" for real-time reporting. "We'll provide Aventis the best of both worlds- the ability to maintain their current combination of realtime and honor-based reporting." Richard Deeran, President Casco Development.

The ShopVue database is integrated with Aventis's SAP host system so that work order and labor activity information is shared between the two systems. ShopVue's Order Management Module provides an onscreen on·screen or on-screen
