Plasma Collection Industry--

Fifth Dimension Information Systems ("5D"), a part of Haemonetics Corporation, today announced plans to implement 5D's LOGIC(TM) software to manage the plasma transport operations for Aventis Bio-Services in the United States United States, officially United States of America, republic (2005 est. pop. 295,734,000), 3,539,227 sq mi (9,166,598 sq km), North America. Aventis Bio-Services will use LOGIC for tracking and controlling its inventory of collected plasma during transport between collection, storage and manufacturing facilities. The system will be integrated with Aventis Bio-Services' existing plasma collection and testing procedures. Aventis Bio-Services processes approximately 3 million liters of plasma annually.

5D's LOGIC software application is an information system that provides efficient and accurate inventory management, as well as industry-specific functionality.
