WALTHAM, Mass. -- Aveksa, Inc. (www.aveksa.com), the market leading provider of enterprise access governance solutions, today announced that it has appointed John O'Donnell John O'Donnell (b. 1964) is a long-standing, passionate member of the Australian music industry. Starting as a freelance writer, he eventually became the editor of Rolling Stone Australia before leaving to co-found and edit Juice Magazine.  to the position of chief financial officer. O'Donnell will be responsible for managing all financial and administrative operations of the company and will work directly with Aveksa's senior management team in support of its worldwide growth strategy. In his new role, O'Donnell will report directly to Aveksa founder and CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board.  Deepak Taneja, and they will work to repeat the successful collaboration they forged while at identity management leader Netegrity.

O'Donnell brings more than 15 years of financial leadership experience and a track record of success to Aveksa. Before joining Aveksa, O'Donnell served as the controller at Empirix Inc., a leading provider of voice and web application testing application testing - system testing  and monitoring solutions. As a member of the Empirix management team, he was responsible for directing all accounting, risk management, financial planning Financial planning

He joined CA after playing a key role in the successful acquisition of Netegrity, Inc., a leading enterprise security management software vendor. At Netegrity, O'Donnell served as the controller and was responsible for directing all financial activities including accounting, tax, financial planning and analysis, risk management, SEC reporting and the Sarbanes-Oxley certification process. O'Donnell began his career as an auditor auditor n. an accountant who conducts an audit to verify the accuracy of the financial records and accounting practices of a business or government.
