Avcorp wins Hunting Aviation contract.

VANCOUVER, B.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--JANUARY 9, 1996--AVCORP INDUSTRIES INC.(ME:AVP) Avcorp Industries Inc. announced today it has been awarded a contract by Hunting Aviation of England for $2 million.

The contract is for three years and includes the manufacture of tooling and production of composite and plastic components, including safety equipment components for the Havilland's Dash 8 series 100, 200 and 300 aircraft. The work will be done at Avcorp's Composite Division in Quebec. Mr. Michael Artus, Vice president and General Manager of the Composites Division said, "The awarding of this contract by Hunting Aviation, a new customer, evidences the continuing success of Avcorp's marketing and sales plan which includes customer diversification and the increase of export sales."
