Avcorp: Appointment of New Vice President.

VANCOUVER, British Columbia--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 27, 1996--AVCORP INDUSTRIES INC.(ME: AVP ) Avcorp Industries Inc. announced today the appointment of Mr. A. Dale Hunt as Vice President, Marketing and Business Development.

This is a new position for the Company. With Avcorp's dramatic growth, more emphasis and time needs to be spent on strategical marketing planning for product alignment and the Company's diversification goals through joint ventures, partnerships and acquisitions. Avcorp has reached the point in its development where this role now needs to be filled on a full-time basis so that the Company can push ahead with these initiatives at a faster pace.

Dale brings with him 30 years of senior leadership and administrative experience in high profile areas of prominent, growth companies in the Canadian aerospace industry, and he will be located at Avcorp's Corporate offices in Richmond, British Columbia.
