Avant! Product Users' Group Formed; Named Aurora--Users' Group to Hold First Meeting February 24-25 at Santa Clara Techmart Meeting Center.


SUNNYVALE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 10, 1997--Avant! Corporation (Nasdaq: AVNT) today announced it is sponsoring the establishment of an independent, international Avant! product users' group A users' group (also users group or user group) is a type of club focused on the use of a particular technology, usually (but not always) computer-related. . This users' group has been named Aurora (Avant! Users' Resource Organization for Real-world Applications). The first Aurora meeting will be a two-day event held February 24 and 25 at the Techmart Renaissance Meeting Center, 5201 Great America Great America is a name shared by two American amusement parks opened by the Marriott Corporation in 1976.

Both parks are now under different ownership and are known as:
