Avanade Inc. Appoints Vice President of Human Resources.

SEATTLE -- Avanade Inc., a global IT consultancy specializing in solutions based on the Microsoft platform, today announced the appointment of Ms. Simone Reynolds as its vice president of human resources.

Ms. Reynolds will lead Avanade's global human resources program and direct a variety of worldwide people initiatives to support the company's aggressive growth agenda in 2007. In fiscal year 2006, the company increased its headcount by 40 percent to more than 5,200 professionals in 22 countries.

"Simone's strategic vision in managing people operations for global consultancies--coupled with her experience in driving complex initiatives that support business growth--will be great assets for Avanade as we continue to grow our business in 2007," said Mitch Hill, chief executive officer for Avanade.

A seasoned leader, Ms. Reynolds has more than 20 years of experience in human resources management. Most recently, she served as Vice President of human resources at Axidia Global, an organization with 5,700 employees across 27 worldwide locations. She was also Senior Director of human resources for OAO Technology Solutions, a major contractor to the U.S. federal government; Vice President of human resources and development for Aegon, a start-up business consulting organization that grew from 35 employees to more than 3,200 employees in 8 years; and Director of human resources for SAIC.
