:AVBD), announced February 6, 2001, that Avalon had entered into a letter agreement with a Swiss company, to provide a financing facility on a best efforts basis ("the financing facility"). That agreement contemplated a definitive agreement between the parties on or before February 14, 2001. The Financing Facility Agreement has been revised and extended by the parties to March 31, 2001.
