Avalon gets an On-Site helper.

On-Site.com, online property leasing and management tool provider, is streamlining the leasing process at Avalon Chrystie Place.

The building opened its doors with over 1,000 prospective applicants on the waiting list for the 290 units completed in the first phase of the project, according to Jake Harrington, business development manager for On-Site.com.

Retained by the project's management and leasing firm, Rose Associates, On-Site.com is expediting the screening process by providing instant background checks, integrated lease preparation and traffic report generation. Moreover, On-Site is ensuring that the required paperwork is printed for each new tenant and that leasing agents comply with renting policies, which may be adjusted during the leasing process.

It is anticipated that the program will provide more time for the leasing staff to focus on marketing the units.

"The sort of traffic that Avalon has enjoyed can be a logistical and paperwork nightmare," said Mr. Harrington. "Beyond ensuring that owners only rent to qualified applicants, On-Site is a lease organization system.

Our technology helps to manage the process so things don't slip through the cracks."

Located at 229 Chrystie Place, Avalon Chrystie Place encompasses the entire south side of East Houston Street between Chrystie Street and Bowery.

The new rentals will feature amenities such as a swimming pool, rooftop sun deck and two floors of retail space, including a Whole Foods market.

This is the first of four new rental buildings to be built in the complex.
