BURLINGTON, Mass. -- Capgemini Executive to Help Guide Avaki's Continued Growth in Data Integration Market

Avaki Corporation, a leading provider of enterprise information integration (EII) software, today announced the appointment of Mr. Brian J. Queenin to its Board of Advisors. Currently vice president and global leader of the Business Intelligence practice at Capgemini, Mr. Queenin brings over 20 years of executive insight into large-scale systems integration initiatives, business intelligence, analytic applications, data warehousing and executive information systems to Avaki's board of industry thought leaders. Avaki's Board of Advisors already comprises some of the industry's most well-known visionaries including David Linthicum, a pioneer in distributed computing and application integration and former CTO of Mercator (now part of Ascential Software), and Dr. Bob Metcalfe, best known for inventing Ethernet and founding 3Com. Dr. Philip Russom, renowned data integration expert and director of research at Forrester Research, serves as the Board's independent facilitator.

Mr. Queenin is widely regarded as an expert in systems integration, having led numerous large-scale business and operational performance initiatives for a broad range of companies in many industries. Currently, he leads the Business Intelligence practice at Capgemini, one of the world's foremost providers of consulting, technology and outsourcing services. He has also held executive and management roles at PricewaterhouseCoopers, Coopers & Lybrand, Citibank and American Express, where initiatives included design and development of decision support systems, sales force automation projects, trade promotion and analysis engagements, data warehousing and supply chain management.
