IBM's product lines include the S/390 mainframes (zSeries), AS/400 midrange business systems (iSeries), RS/6000 workstations and servers (pSeries), Intel-based servers (xSeries)  and EMC (1) (EMC Corporation, Hopkinton, MA, www.emc.com) The leading supplier of storage products for midrange computers and mainframes. In response to increased customer demand, Availant is expanding its education services offering by providing 12 new curricula and creating seven new classrooms and labs, including a dedicated EMC lab. Availant is also upgrading equipment to enhance students' overall training experience and prepare them for careers in high technology.

It controls the interaction between applications and users and lets programmers develop screen displays without , DB2, UDB See DB2 UDB.

udb - Universal Debugger
, MQ Series, ADSM (ADSTAR Distributed Storage Manager) The former name of a comprehensive software system for backup, HSM and disaster recovery from IBM. It backed up data from more than 25 client and server platforms to an ADSM server running on any IBM platform, HP-UX, Solaris , Linux, Windows NT (Windows New Technology) A 32-bit operating system from Microsoft for Intel x86 CPUs. NT is the core technology in Windows 2000 and Windows XP (see Windows). Available in separate client and server versions, it includes built-in networking and preemptive multitasking.  & Windows 2000. For EMC, Availant will support their worldwide education and training program by providing course architecture, design, development, facilities and delivery to EMC's systems administrators and channel partners.
