AvTel's Addictive Media Group Unveils Internet And Multimedia Development Services; Todd Greene Appointed Vice President and General Manager of Addictive Media Group.

(Nasdaq:AVCO) and its Addictive Media Group today announced the introduction of an array of services that Addictive Media will provide as a full-service multimedia and Internet development studio. Addictive Media is the result of the combination of AvTel's existing software development group with the interactive multimedia CD-ROM CD-ROM: see compact disc.

Among these offerings, AvTel announced the expanded capabilities of the group's proprietary authoring platform, X-PAT, to include the integration of the company's Internet and E-Commerce development tools. This package will enhance the Company's ability to develop linked multimedia CD-ROM products and Internet applications, as well as immersive applications that cross over the World Wide Web to Location-Based Entertainment (kiosks) -- enabling the development of an inter-networked environment from a consumer's home to the Internet to retail locations.

The company also announced today that it has appointed Todd Greene Todd Anthony Greene (born May 8, 1971 in Augusta, Georgia) is a catcher in Major League Baseball who is currently a free agent. He previously played for the Anaheim Angels (1996-2000), Toronto Blue Jays (2000), New York Yankees (2001), Texas Rangers 2002-2003) and the Colorado  Vice President and General Manager of the Addictive Media Group.
