AvGroup Announces LatinPass Goes Global.

MIAMI--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 27, 2002

AvGroup CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board. , Guy Booth has announced that the formal agreement for the purchase of LatinPass by AvGroup has been signed by the Latin Air Carrier owners, clearing the way for the re-branding of LatinPass.

Effective January 2, 2003, LatinPass will go Global and expand its consumer loyalty program and services as GlobalPass...extending the scope of operation beyond Latin America Latin America, the Spanish-speaking, Portuguese-speaking, and French-speaking countries (except Canada) of North America, South America, Central America, and the West Indies.  to include the world-wide loyalty market.

LatinPass was formed in 1994 and launched in 1995 to provide member Latin Airlines, a targeted loyalty program that catered to Latin American travelers and to provide a marketing tool to compete with the U.S airlines that were forging a foothold foot·hold
