Auxer Reports New Developments At Viva.

: AXGI) announced today that its merger with Viva Airlines, Inc. is proceeding toward completion.

Eugene Chiaramonte, Chairman of AUXER, said, "We have a few agreements yet to finalize but everything is moving along well. This time of the year is always a challenge to get agreements completed because of the holidays. However, I am in daily contact with the management of VIVA and they are anxious to complete the merger".

Robert Scott, President and Chief Executive Officer of VIVA, announced today that VIVA is formalizing an agreement with Falcon Air Express Falcon Air Express was an airline based in Miami, Florida, USA. It operated charter services and wet-leasing of aircraft. Its main base is Miami International Airport[1]. Falcon Air sub-contracts for Venezuelan carrier Aeropostal Alas de Venezuela.  of Miami that would broaden Falcon's participation with VIVA. Falcon is a fully licensed carrier that maintains a fleet of 9 jet aircraft. Scott said, "Our discussions with Falcon include expanding our relationship to include operational support involving pilots, mechanics and other support personnel. We will also be able to have Falcon assist us in training and development of personnel. Falcon is an excellent air carrier and we are excited about having them as a business partner. Scott also reported that VIVA has located 2 Super 727 aircraft in Miami that we intend to purchase. These craft require a "C" check and cosmetic renovations prior to transfer to a new license. We have sought approval from the Dominican Republic Dominican Republic (dəmĭn`ĭkən), republic (2005 est. pop. 8,950,000), 18,700 sq mi (48,442 sq km), West Indies, on the eastern two thirds of the island of Hispaniola. The capital and largest city is Santo Domingo.  Civil Aeronautics Authority to put these craft into service after the above referenced services. These aircraft will be purchased from a tier 1 aerospace supplier.

Scott stated "VIVA's plans are to acquire by lease purchase or outright purchase 9 to 11 aircraft by the end of calendar year 2003. Accordingly, VIVA will continue to search for 737-300's and 767's" to meet the demands of our corporate sponsors and affiliations for the proposed route service structure.
