Autumn activities at Meltham Moor Primary School.HUNDREDS packed into Meltham Moor Primary School at the weekend for its annual autumn fair.The day was particularly special this year as it also coincided with the launch of the Sure Start Children's Centre, which is part of the Meltham school. Families turned up in their dozens on Saturday Saturday: see week; Sabbath. as children enjoyed activities such as bouncy castles and face painting. Opening the event was special guest Marty Jobson, most commonly known as the 'science bloke' on the BBC's One Show. There was also a special performance from the school choir choir [O.Fr.] 1 A group of singers; traditionally the chorus organized to sing in a church. Usually, Roman Catholic, Anglican, and Lutheran choirs are composed of men and boys, but occasionally in these churches and customarily in other Protestant . "Once again it has been a great success. Marty has been particularly popular with the children." All the funds raised from the day will be spent on the children, by organising theatre group outings and bringing in special visitors for the day.
