Contest visitors were invited to guess the number of toy cars stuffed inside of Autoweb.com's 1998 VW Beetle with toy and car specifications listed on the company's Web site. Autoweb.com awarded the check to Piter at Vista Motors in Pompano Beach, an Autoweb.com Member Dealership.

The correct number of cars in the VW Beetle was 8,273 and, in a single entry, Piter guessed 8,274. "I guess the outrageous number of semester hours I spent in math and engineering classes didn't go to waste," said Contest Winner Piter. "I can't believe I won the 'Autoweb.com $4,000 Giveaway' on my first and only entry." Piter's entry was among more than 8,000 submitted.
