Autonomy Confirms 3-For-1 Stock Split Effective August 1, 2000; All Proposals Approved At Annual General Meeting of Shareholders.

The stock split was approved at Autonomy's Annual General Meeting of Shareholders. All other matters presented at the AGM AGM annual general meeting

 were also approved, including the approval of Autonomy's annual report and accounts, re-appointment of certain members of Autonomy's Board of Directors and the re-appointment of Arthur Andersen as Autonomy's independent auditors.

As a result of the stock split, each of Autonomy's ordinary shares, nominal value Nominal Value

The stated value of an issued security that remains fixed, as opposed to its market value, which fluctuates.

Notes:
When referring to fixed-income securities, the nominal value is also the face value.
 1p per share, and ordinary shares represented by ADSs, will represent three new ordinary shares, nominal value 1/3p per share, effective prior to the opening of markets on August 1, 2000. After the split, Autonomy will have approximately 125,300,000 ordinary shares outstanding.
