Automotive acetals emit less volatiles.

show in Chicago are claimed to provide lower volatile emissions, improved weathering, and reduced friction and wear. To meet automotive requirements, three of the new Delrin grades from DuPont Engineering Polymers, Wilmington, Del., are claimed to reduce volatile emissions up to 90% compared with similar grades. The new products are Delrin 100PE, a high-viscosity resin with the best combination of stiffness, toughness, and creep; Delrin 500PE, a g-p medium-viscosity grade with an optimized combination of flow and physical properties; and Delrin 527 UVE UVE User Virtual Environment , a medium-viscosity resin with excellent weatherability.

Other introductions include Delrin 327UV, enhanced for both weatherability and molding speed. It also boasts low warpage. Delrin 100TL combines high impact and elongation elongation, in astronomy, the angular distance between two points in the sky as measured from a third point. The elongation of a planet is usually measured as the angular distance from the sun to the planet as measured from the earth.  with low wear, and Delrin 500MP is claimed to be an economical choice for parts needing low friction, wear, and squeak (language) Squeak - 1.
