Automotive TPVs Shrug Off Weather.

Sarlink 5000 is a new series of PP/EPDM thermoplastic A polymer material that turns to liquid when heated and becomes solid when cooled. There are more than 40 types of thermoplastics, including acrylic, polypropylene, polycarbonate and polyethylene.  vulcanizates (TPVs) designed for automotive weather strips and interior trim, as well as building and construction applications. They are said to combine high elastic performance and high uv/color stability along with lower fogging and non-blooming characteristics. Sarlink 5000 boasts better long-term compression-set resistance than traditional EPDM EPDM Ethylene-Propylene-Diene-Monomer
