Prior to joining SAE, Alexander spent more than 20 years as an automotive engineer in his native England as well as in Detroit and elsewhere, including periods for Volvo in Sweden and the UK; for GM and Magna in the US; and a total of nearly 13 years with Ford in the UK, Germany, Australia, and the US. David earned a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Brunel University in London, England, and has been an SAE member since 1989.
