Automotive Performance Group, Inc. Receives Verbal Approval to Proceed With Reorganization Plan for Boyds Wheels and Hot Rods by Boyds.

TEMPE, Ariz.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 13, 1999--AUTOMOTIVE PERFORMANCE GROUP, INC. (OTC BB:RACG), a full-service owner and operator of high performance automotive businesses and brands, announced today that it has received verbal approval to proceed with its reorganization plan for Boyds Wheels and Hot Rods by Boyds.

Written approval from the court is expected before the end of the week.

This action will allow APG to re-start the Boyds operations immediately. APG plans to begin operations as soon as possible out of the former Boyds distribution center in Stanton, CA.
