Larson/Burton offers the Rollette 400, which is designed for continuous take-up of scrap material from any converting process. It will rewind miniature rolls and automatically cut off material and begin a new roll without cores or operator intervention. The full rolls are ejected into a hopper for removal and reclamation. The company says the unit is smaller, quieter, consumes less power, and compacts material more densely than conventional trim removal systems involving blowers, choppers and compactors.
