, automated manufacturing systems, for advanced packaging and assembly in optoelectronics and microelectronics, accommodates multiple process and assembly operations on a single automated platform--enabling higher production volumes and improved yields. Each workcell can be scaled up or reconfigured as manufacturing requirements change. The product family includes: the 1000 model for semi-automated production; the 2000 model for fully-automated assembly and processing; the model 3000 high-speed die-bonder; and the 4000 model for high-precision automated manufacturing. All workcells are configurable for fiber optics fiber optics, transmission of digitized messages or information by light pulses along hair-thin glass fibers. Each fiber is surrounded by a cladding having a high index of refractance so that the light is internally reflected and travels the length of the fiber , wireless, micromedical devices, semiconductors, computer peripheral and automotive electronics.
