Payerpath Remittance Posting enables physician practices to improve the payment process by eliminating manual remittance advice handling. It is customized to replicate the organization's unique workflow for posting payments into the practice management system (PMS). Using its proprietary claims management system, the module picks up the organization's remittance file and posts all relevant data elements directly into the PMS. The elements include procedure codes, denial codes, and payment, adjustment, co-insurance, deductible, write off and copayment amounts. It does not require the organization to have a posting module in the PMS, so it can post remittance from any payer that can deliver an electronic remittance file.
