Automated check-cashing services were to be available at 94 7-Eleven stores in Texas and Florida, beginning this summer. The special "virtual commerce kiosks" supplied by Equifax Payment Services would permit consumers to cash personal, payroll and other checks. When service has been extended, as planned, to 5,300 7-Eleven outlets, Equifax will be one of the nation's largest check cashers, company officials say.
