Automated Securities Clearance, Ltd. Launches BRASS.COM.


WEEHAWKEN, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 26, 1999--

Automated Securities Clearance, Ltd. (ASC ASC Ambulatory surgery center, see there ), announced today the release of the BRASS Customer Order Management product: BRASS.COM (1) (Computer Output Microfilm) Creating microfilm or microfiche from the computer. A COM machine receives print-image output from the computer either online or via tape or disk and creates a film image of each page. , which allows brokerage firms to provide Internet based market data, order entry and management capabilities to their:

- Institutional customers,

- Retail customers, and

- Correspondent broker/dealers.

This powerful new tool will integrate ASC's BRASS (Brokerage Real-time Application Support System) Transmission System or any other broker equity trading system with an internet trading system, or any other electronic trading system, through the industry standard FIX 4.0 protocol. This integration will empower a brokerage firm's customer base to electronically trade with that firm's trading desk.
