   A vocabulary of up to 2,500 words can be defined by a system
   administrator, to support lists, menus and synonyms. The
   administrator can specify several phonetic synonyms for the name
   of any person in the directory, and set confirmation parameters for
   any name.

-- Continuous Speech: The system can recognize continuously spoken
   speech. This gives the caller the ability to speak naturally when
   giving account numbers, currency amounts or other numbers and
   alphanumeric strings.

-- Speaker Friendly: Any caller can use Diversitel without prior
   training or directions.

-- Barge-in: The caller can &uot;interrupt&uot; the system in mid-sentence
   with his or her request. The system will understand the request
   and proceed with it.

-- Interfaces to a number of telephone systems: The system can be
   easily configured for most systems.

-- SmartRecognizer: The SmartRecognizer &uot;remembers&uot; incorrect
   pronunciations that callers use,improving the system's recognition
   capabilities. A name that is commonly mispronounced can be
   recognized by the system.

-- Dictionary: Containing a maximum of over 100,000 names and
   phonetic sounds for accurate recognition.

-- Disambiguation: If there is more than one employee with the same
   first name (i.e., John Jones, John Patterson, John Smith) and the
   caller specifies only &uot;John,&uot; the system will inform the caller
   that there is more than one John and ask &uot;which one are you
   looking for?&uot;
