Autoclave bags ease post-curing of small parts.

Today, it is said to be difficult and costly to post-cure small silicone parts and achieve homogenous homogenous - homogeneous  treatment of all the parts during the same process cycle. Silicone is so static that small silicone parts form grapes and stick to each other. To limit that, silicone manufacturers normally use chalk to reduce the adhesion of the parts. This company is said to have found an easy and inexpensive solution which creates new possibilities for post-curing of small or precision silicone parts. This solution is autoclave autoclave

 bags.

The ColdCuring invention, based on usage of pure liquid carbon dioxide carbon dioxide, chemical compound, CO2, a colorless, odorless, tasteless gas that is about one and one-half times as dense as air under ordinary conditions of temperature and pressure.  (C[O.sub.2]) at room temperature for silicone treatment, is already known as an alternative to the post-curing technique. ColdCuring is said to dramatically reduce the content of free silicone oils (oligomers) and other residues in a short time compared to the traditional oven technique. Now ColdCuring has acquired a new feature which is said to result in the silicone products being cleaner and easier to handle than before. The autoclave bags help avoid any contamination with dust on the silicone items and contact with human hands. This is said to ensure that silicone products are free from dust and grease, and are easy to handle.

Just after molding or extrusion, the non-postcured silicone parts are packed directly into the autoclave bags. Afterwards, the bags are loaded in the ColdCuring machine, which washes them with liquid C[O.sub.2]. The permeable membrane of the autoclave bags allows free flow of C[O.sub.2] through the bags to thoroughly bathe the silicone parts and take oligomers and residues out. At the end of the ColdCuring wash, the bags are unloaded from the machine and can be directly labeled, avoiding additional packaging. After the treatment by ColdCuring, the amount of cyclic siloxanes D4-D D4-D Direct Injection 4 Stroke - Diesel (Toyota) 20 can be reduced to below 0.005% (50 ppm), which is said to meet very high safety standards Safety standards are standards designed to ensure the safety of products, activities or processes, etc. They may be advisory or compulsory and are normally laid down by an advisory or regulatory body that may be either voluntary or statutory.  for food, medical and engineering applications, including the European Pharmacopeia pharmacopeia /phar·ma·co·pe·ia/ (-ko-pe´ah) an authoritative treatise on drugs and their preparations. The company is currently looking at the sterilizing effect of the usage of autoclave bags, which will allow ColdCuring not only to become an innovative alternative to post-curing, but also an alternative to sterilization sterilization
