AutoWeek Magazine Names New Publisher, Publishing Director and Sales Manager.
In making the announcement, Keith Crain, chairman of Crain Communications said, "We have a great team in place to take AutoWeek to the next level."
Crain Jr. joined AutoWeek in June 2005 and was named ad director in April 2006. Prior to his position at AutoWeek, he served as a reporter with AutoWeek's sister publication, Automotive News, and was an early member of Crain Communications Inc's corporate New Media department.
Tony Merpi is a 31-year veteran of Crain Communications Inc. He joined Automotive News in 1976 in advertising sales. Merpi also served in the role of director of sales and marketing of the Automotive News Group, responsible for overseeing the marketing and sales efforts of all the Crain Communications Inc automotive titles. He most recently served as publisher of AutoWeek and was named a vice president of Crain Communications Inc in 2000.
Tony Foster joined Crain Communications Inc in 1997 as a financial analyst. Foster joined Automotive News as a sales representative in 1999 and most recently served as midwest advertising manager for AutoWeek.
