Auto Club Appoints New Managing Director for Travel Products & Services.

Tim Irwin Timothy Edward Irwin (born December 13, 1958) was an offensive tackle in the NFL. He played most of his career with the Minnesota Vikings. He later became an attorney, practicing in Knoxville.  has been appointed to the new executive position of managing director for travel related products, services and travel agency support functions by the Automobile Club of Southern California The Automobile Club of Southern California was founded December 13, 1900 in Los Angeles as one of the nation's first motor clubs dedicated to improving roads, proposing traffic laws and improvement of overall driving conditions. .

Irwin will be responsible for expanding and integrating travel services for the Auto Club and its AAA AAA: see American Automobile Association.

He has also managed the insurance, membership and travel retail operations of several district offices.

He is a member of the AAA National Travel Services Advisory Group and the AAA National Preferred Supplier Liaison Team, the Holland America Advisory Council, Brennan Tours Advisory Council and the AAA Disney Advisory Council.

Irwin and his family reside in Chino Chino (chē`nō), city (1990 pop. 59,682), San Bernardino co., S Calif.; founded 1887, inc. 1910. It is the business and processing center of a diversified farming (notably dairying) area. , Calif.

The Automobile Club of Southern California, the largest affiliate of the AAA, has been serving members since 1900. Today, the Auto Club's members benefit by the organization's emergency road service, insurance services, travel agency, financial products, automotive pricing, buying and financing programs, automotive testing and analysis, trip planning services, highway and transportation safety programs and legislative advocacy.
