Auto Club: Gas Prices Set Another Monthly Record High.

The lowest average price in Southern California is in Escondido, where regular is selling for $2.265. Lompoc reported the state's highest average price at $2.542. Marysville in Northern California Northern California, sometimes referred to as NorCal, is the northern portion of the U.S. state of California. The region contains the San Francisco Bay Area, the state capital, Sacramento; as well as the substantial natural beauty of the redwood forests, the northern  had the lowest price in the state at $2.150. Nationally, the average price is $1.96, down from $1.97 in October.
