Byline: Justine Halifax

A NEW look Staffordshire Police Authority website has been unveiled.

The improved website has been launched to provide better communication between members and the public.

The site supports the Police Authority's work to provide timely information to the public about policing issues that affect them.

Acting Police Authority chair, David Pearsall, said: "Part of our wider role is to engage more with the public. We are pleased with the updated site which users should find easier to navigate."

The site features agendas for upcoming committee and members' meetings and visitors can download the minutes of those meetings.

People can easily contact any member of the authority through a direct link from a member's page and there is also a contact file with a form for people to fill in and send their feedback direct to the authority.
