Authoria Inc., the leading provider of Web-based, human resource communication applications, today announced that W. Ladd Bodem has joined the company as vice president of client services.

In this capacity, Bodem will lead the team that is responsible for Authoria's professional services, customer support and customer training programs.

Bodem is an executive with more than 25 years of experience in information technology services, and brings expertise in key areas of change management such as systems integration and technology transition to his role at Authoria. Prior to joining Authoria, Bodem was vice president of worldwide customer services for eBusiness Technologies International Inc. He has also served as vice president of worldwide market research for the IT services industry at Gartner Group's Dataquest, vice president of customer services at International Software Group Ltd. (now Attunity), and vice president of professional services at Data General Corp. Bodem has also held a variety of service management positions at Digital Equipment Corporation. He holds a B.E. of systems and information science from Vanderbilt University.
