 iUniverse operations from Lincoln, Nebraska The City of Lincoln is the capital and the second most populous city of the U.S. state of Nebraska. Lincoln is also the county seat of Lancaster County and the home of the University of Nebraska.  to Bloomington, Indiana Bloomington is a city in south central Indiana. Located about 50 miles southwest of Indianapolis, it is the seat of Monroe County. As of the 2000 U.S. Census, Bloomington had a total population of 69,291, making it the 7th largest city in Indiana. , effective March 31, 2008. All full-time employees at the publisher's Lincoln headquarters will be offered positions in Indiana.

"Moving iUniverse operations to Indiana will allow us to offer an increased range of services to our authors and make book production a more efficient process," said Kevin Weiss, ASI chief executive officer. "All iUniverse services including editorial, sales, and marketing support will remain intact during the transition."

ASI acquired iUniverse, the world's second-largest self publisher, in September 2007. Combined with Bloomington-based AuthorHouse, the world leader in self-publishing and author-marketing services, and Wordclay, ASI companies published one out of every 17 U.S. book titles in 2007.
