Regents Professor Patricia Hampl will speak on November 16 at the University Club on Summit Avenue in St. Paul. The event, "Booked for a Night," is sponsored by the Guild of Catholic Women. Hampl has received numerous awards and been the recipient of countless fellowships and endowments. She is the author of many books, including "The Silken Chamber," "I Could Tell You Stories: Sojourns in the Land of Memory," and "A Romantic Education." She has written memoir pieces, travel pieces, short stories, book reviews and essays in various periodicals and anthologies, including the New Yorker, New York New York, state, United States New York, Middle Atlantic state of the United States. It is bordered by Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and the Atlantic Ocean (E), New Jersey and Pennsylvania (S), Lakes Erie and Ontario and the Canadian province of Times Book Review, Los Angeles Times Los Angeles Times Morning daily newspaper.
